“Prelude” (Official Music Video)

About a year ago, the XP|30 journey began — one of the most ambitious projects I have created so far, conceived as a tribute to Sicilian culture and womanhood.

Today, September 30th, I am thrilled to share with you one of the very first compositions from the conceptual album that will accompany a 30-minute short film: a voyage that explores different traits and styles to immerse us in the world of XP|30. The work draws inspiration from César Manrique’s artistic vision in Lanzarote, where nature itself becomes the stage and every element — the wind, the sand, the sea — takes on its own life, becoming a character in its own right.

On this occasion, I am proud to present Prelude, the opening piece of the album, crafted in collaboration with Sicilian director Sabrina Greco, who sought to capture this vision:

On a cliff battered by the sea, a Sicilian woman dances as if in an ancestral ritual. Her figure, suspended between reality and myth, evokes the archetype of the siren or the goddess, without belonging entirely to either. Through her gestures and the movements of her body, she weaves a silent dialogue with the elements: the relentless strength of the rock, the vitality of the water, the breath of the air. The dance becomes magic, invocation, grounding. It is a hymn to feminine power and to the sacredness of nature, where every crashing wave and every grain of earth tells the same story of resilience, belonging, and freedom.

You are warmly invited to share this journey and stay tuned for more updates as we approach the November premiere of XP|30: Il canto Frammentato.
