I’m proud to present “Prelude”, the opening track of the original soundtrack for my upcoming short film, XP|30: Il Canto Frammentato, premiering on November 25, 2025.

This composition, which I wrote specifically for the film, introduces the musical identity of the project. It was produced by Dany Alen, who also performs the vocals with a restrained and honest expressiveness that aligns beautifully with the spirit of the short film. Violinist Maddi Etxeberria Lopetegui contributes a vital emotional layer, crafting a sound that resonates closely with the short film’s visual and narrative tone.
XP|30 is a conceptual work born as a tribute to Sicily—not only as a place, but as memory, identity, and symbolic space. The film explores themes of fragility and permanence, loss and beauty, through a fragmented yet intimate perspective.
My goal has been to create an experience that goes beyond the screen—where music doesn’t merely accompany the images, but enhances and expands the emotional landscape. Each track on the album has been designed as a narrative extension of the film
To complete the soundtrack and bring this project to its fullest expression, we’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign on Verkami. Beyond financial support, the campaign aims to build a community around the work—sharing the creative process and its evolution with those who choose to take part.

I hope Prelude offers a first glimpse into the world of XP|30, and that in some way, it invites you to walk this path with me.
