The first phase of XP|30 has come to an end, wrapping up a three-day shoot from September 16th to 18th in Trappeto, Sicily. This ambitious project brought together a talented crew of 27 , including four renowned Sicilian actresses: Carlotta Pernicone, Isabella Viola, Patrizia D’Antona, and Stefania Sala.

XP|30 is a short film project that is part of the Aisha XXI Cinematic Social Intervention Plan, developed as a final degree project in Social Education at the Complutense University of Madrid. The aim of this plan is to raise awareness about gender-based violence through cinema, with the goal of releasing a short film each year until 2029.

XP|30 explore the stories of four Sicilian women, portraying their strength, desires, and silences.

Through this narrative, the aim is to shed light on a figure that has historically been silenced—the Sicilian woman—in a cultural context that transcends borders, resonating with the experiences of many women in Latin America as well.

XP|30 has two versions: a traditional cinematic version that will be submitted to international festivals, and an immersive version that will be showcased in an experimental gallery.

The festival version follows a visual and emotional narrative, while the immersive version will allow the audience to walk through the story in an interactive installation, creating a more sensory and engaging experience.

This dual approach ensures that the project reaches both traditional film audiences and those seeking more innovative artistic experiences.

At this stage, we are seeking financial support to help complete the post-production of the short film and bring the immersive experience to life.

An investment of 10,000 euros would allow us to finalize the soundtrack, created in collaboration with artists from Palermo and Madrid, and to develop the immersive gallery, utilizing projectors and sliding screens in a carefully designed space that will immerse the audience in the story.
