Unit Production Manager 3 of 4 | By Davide Moscarello
Davide Moscarello and Marta Romano, have created an artistic synchronicity reflected in this cinematographic piece called “Guardando una stampa”, a short film that looks for offer the audience a break from the ordinary, a space where humour and comedy become the main characters.

Classics such as “Brutti, sporchi e cattivi” by Nino Manfredi, “Il postino” by Michael Redford and Massimo Troisi; and “8 ½” by Federico Fellini have been key in Moscarello cinematographic path reflected in this work.
A young talented director who is connected to cinema not only in his way of creating, also in the acting aspect; since, strengthened by his pass as an actor, he emphasizes the smallest detail in each recitation, managing to transmit the feeling of each word.
On the other hand, I must highlight a key component that has reinforced all the expectations of this artistic proposal, and that is the name of Marta Romano, director of photography. Her listening, commitment and meticulous attention to every detail have made this piece a journey of transition between lights and shades of colour
A motivation, full of ambition to achieve the final objective, the beauty and quality of the film, have made her fully believe in this idea till the last moment.
“Guardando una stampa” has meant an organisational effort, not only logistically but also emotionally for each member of the team. It has been a duel with some adversities that have tested the endurance of its team their commitment and their skills in order to grow and stand out in the cinematography industry.
Walking alongside Moscarello and Romano has been a circle experience, which has taught me and inspired me; coming to understand certain choices that at first might be incomprehensible, but their dedication and hard work have made this project an undeniably beautiful piece… in such a way that it has managed to take me to Buenos Aires through some of its lights and colours.
As my mentor says every time when I finish a set; Davide Moscarello e Marta Romona “Sono orgoglioso di voi”.
